Scotland is the latest country to invest in scholarships to encourage outbound study abroad, with Scottish universities, colleges and student organisations now having access to UK£130,000 to fund such projects. This is in addition to a scheme to encourage Scots to study in China and an established inbound initiative under the same Saltire scheme.
