Graduate education in English throughout Europe

According to research by the Institute of International Education (IIE), USA, the number of English-taught Masters courses available in Europe has risen dramatically since 2007. The Netherlands and Germany are the countries with the widest offer, followed by Sweden, Spain, France, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, Finland and Denmark.
The IIE study, which takes data from MastersPortal.eu, Europe’s most popular source of information about post graduate courses, found there were 4,664 programs taught entirely or partly in English in 2012, up from 1,500 in 2007 and just 560 in 2002.
Business & economics and engineering & technology are the most common disciplines taught in English.
